Colwall Ladies' Club

Chairman: Beryl Richardson
Secretary: Trish Hayward

Colwall Ladies' Club was set up in 1986 when some local ladies decided it was time they had their own club.  The intention was that it should interest, entertain and even educate the ladies of Colwall as well as giving them a regular opportunity to enjoy a couple of hours with friends.  Now in its fourth decade, the Club continues to fulfil its original purpose and still makes a positive contribution to the lives of its members and to the village they share.

From a starting point of 24 members we currently have a membership of 100 with a regular attendance of about 60 at our meetings.

The Club is open to all ladies living in and around Colwall, whether long established or new to the area, who are keen to join a group to meet friends old and new, to hear a rich, appropriate and varied programme of good speakers and to join in activities and events tailored to the interests of the members. The Committee encourages members to put forward their views and suggestions for the running and development of the Club.

We look forward to seeing members old and new and prospective at Colwall Village Hall on the second Thursday of the month, except August.  Meetings start at 10.30 but do join us from 10.00 for coffee, biscuits (and chat!)
